WHY YOUR BODY SIZE DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR WORTH
Ellen Degeneres once said "To me, beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin. It's about knowing and accepting who you are" and I totally agree with her.
Sadly, over the years I have come in close contact with people (friends & acquaintances, women & men, adults & children, straight & gay, single & married alike) who don't feel secure in their own bodies.
Some of these beautiful individuals either feel unattractive, uncomfortable in their own bodies, ashamed or just wish they had someone else's body.
Based on talks and studies, I realized that these insecure feelings were majorly as a result of the physique junk being dished by mainstream media, and body shaming from close friends, family and relevant others they've had to be in close contact with.
Nonetheless, the fact still remains that you are perfect; so stop wishing you looked like someone else, wishing people liked you as much as they like someone else, hating your (face, body, personality and quirks) because you wouldn't be uniquely you without them. Be confident with who you are, give a cheerful smile and attract those who deserve you. Stop making your happiness dependent on the external. So #LOVE who you are, as well as your imperfections because they make you uniquely you and being unique is flawlessly amazing.
NB: In the Holy Bible see: Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:4.
