Don't waste your time worrying about the wrong environment, focus on the right audience - regardless of how alien they might be.

Know your worth, and don't settle for crumbs when you can get the bread. 

Be good, work hard, go to where you are valued, succeed on purpose, and don't forget to stay humble (not stupid).
