MY LESSONS FROM 2020

๐ŸทThe two most important, yet underrated skills in life are selling and investing.  ๐ŸทIf you don't have investments that make you extra money in your sleep, no matter how much you save, you will never experience financial freedom.  ๐ŸทPaper certifications/qualifications would never beat practical experience and creativity.  ๐ŸทThe Devil really is the god of this world and he is the sweetest route to all bitter endings. ๐ŸทContentment with godliness truly is great gain. ๐ŸทTime spent trying hard to make people who you admire like you, respect you, recognize you and accept you in return is time wasted.  ๐ŸทNever develop any deep relationship with someone who does not have the same values and goals as you do. ๐ŸทNot everything that appears too good to be true is a scam, some opportunities come on a platter of gold. ๐ŸทYou can be happily single when you have set goals and are working to manifest them, as well as, when you have honest and supportive friends to spend good times with

๐Ÿ”ฅ Retirement isn't an age, but rather, a calculation; because, once you reach the point where your assets are bringing in more than enough to cover your bills, you no longer have to work. ๐Ÿ”ฅ If you don't have money to make more money, use your time & knowledge to earn money; then take the money you earned and invest it. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Get a job to pay for the necessities and buy assets, then let those assets buy the luxury. ๐Ÿ”ฅ The people the Devil fears the most are those who have crucified their flesh and remind it every day that it is dead. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Are you aware that your flesh is harder to deal with than the Devil himself? ๐Ÿ”ฅ Financial independence helps you to do what you like, and if you don't know what you like, it will help you at least avoid what you hate. ๐Ÿ”ฅ When you are moving close to solution and you see your sad condition, you have started making progress. ๐Ÿ”ฅ The most important lesson in life and commerce is knowing when to enter and when to exit. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Wi

๐Ÿ•ฏ Sometimes, the only work you need to do is, show up! ๐Ÿ•ฏ The older I get, the less lies I tell, the wiser I become and the less need I have to impress people.  ๐Ÿ•ฏ Be honest with yourself, really, what are you becoming? ๐Ÿ•ฏ The dumbest ways to go broke are: buying things that harm your health, buying things you can't afford to impress others, investing in things you don't understand, gambling and trying to get rich quick. ๐Ÿ•ฏ Cultivate the habit of using your money to buy income. ๐Ÿ•ฏ Some days I feel good because I achieved the goals on my to-do list, other days I feel good because I managed to take a cold shower. ๐Ÿ•ฏ If you are not curious about it, you can't be good at it. ๐Ÿ•ฏ The number of jobs you can work out is limited, but the amount of assets you can own are not. ๐Ÿ•ฏ People give effort to what is important to them. ๐Ÿ•ฏ Money works harder than you ever will. ๐Ÿ•ฏ Every demon needs a body, and what you do with your body affects your mind which in turn determines t

๐Ÿ‘‘ Be thankful for closed doors, bad vibes, and stuff that falls apart. It will protect you from things not meant for you. ๐Ÿ‘‘ Buy or Invest in assets that earn you passive income (money that you don't have to trade your time for) because MONEY will always work harder than you ever will. ๐Ÿ‘‘ Every other skill can be taught and learnt, but not creativity - it is more like a supernatural stimuli within us all which comes into play in different ways. ๐Ÿ‘‘ Work like you don't pray and pray like you don't work, because you get more luck when you work hard. ๐Ÿ‘‘ To build a highly competitive brand, first make your product as awesome as possible - then seek negative feedback from all corners, improve the product and repeat. ๐Ÿ‘‘ You can outsmart any competition in business by finding qualified customers and having a customer-centric culture. ๐Ÿ‘‘ Non of the wealthy people built and sustained their wealth by selling their time for income. ๐Ÿ“Œ The smartest way to to get what you want from someone else, is to help them get what they want in the first place - look for people who want what you have and who also have what you need. ๐Ÿ“Œ Constantly setting GOALS and working towards achieving them can make you feel good about yourself and your life in general. ๐Ÿ“Œ What you know (knowledge) is more important than what you have (possessions), but the most important thing to have apart from knowledge is wisdom (the ability to understand what is important and constantly do it).  ๐Ÿ“Œ In most cases, how you do something is much more important than what you do. ๐Ÿ“Œ You begin to feel a sense of clear purpose in life, when you gradually start to set and achieve goals that are directly or indirectly linked to your good personal values, passions and beliefs. ๐Ÿ“Œ Do your BEST and the universe will help you make it profitable. ๐Ÿ“Œ It is a wiser choice to spend more of your time improving on your talents, skills, strengths, competence,

Once you are in a relationship you think it is going to last forever. But in reality, it only lasts for as long as you and your friend/partner is working for it.  Now here’s the catch; if one of the parties involved (either you or your friend/partner) stops investing effort through sacrifice, support, respect, trust, mutual understanding, spending some time together or just communicating over a long period - to make the friendship/relationship work, guess what happens next – THE RELATIONSHIP FALLS APART ( Always Remember This) Can you relate? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments

MY NYSC EXPERIENCE 2019/2020

Image
Wow! Time flies fast. Memories from the 5th day (in November) last year, 2019, remain fresh in my mind. It was my very first day at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp where I met several others like myself who had left the comfort of their homes/families for sake of fulfillment, excitement or perhaps sheer necessity; to experience something different from the predictability of college life. Apparently, my first 60 hours staying at the camp were not as fun as I thought it should be... Perhaps I wasn't the only one who felt this way after realizing that: one had to share a room which was poorly ventilated with 29 others of akin gender, one also had to leave anything one was doing to report to the parade ground immediately one heard the sound of the loud beagle, one would be all dressed in white 98% of the three weeks one had to spend in camp, one wasn't always guaranteed access to running water nor a socket for re-charging essential devices.
